Fable and Silk is an Australian small business offering book-inspired apparel and accessories, with a big focus on sustainability and community. Our goal is to create minimal, high-quality designs, and make them more accessible to readers in Australasia.

    The majority of items in our store will be either limited stock or preorder only - reducing the chance of wastage and items unnecessarily going to landfill.
    As much of our packaging as possible will be made from reusable, recyclable or recycled materials.

  • Community

    5% of every purchase from our store will go to one of two charities: The Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation,
    and the World Literacy Foundation.
    We’ll be holding a monthly indie author spotlight on our
    social media channels, focusing on Australian and
    New Zealand authors.

Our Founder

Meet Annie, the founder behind Fable and Silk! As an avid reader of fantasy, romance, sci-fi and more, Annie started the brand after struggling to find bookish products that fit a more understated aesthetic - particularly in Australia, where shipping from overseas can be costly.

Through Fable and Silk, Annie hopes to offer fellow book lovers something they can treasure while making a positive impact on both the community and the environment.
